Gabriella Blandino-Vasquez is a muralist, digital marketer, and graphic designer.
What was the Lightbulb Moment that inspired you to fully dive into what you do?
I knew from a very young age that I wasn't going to take a traditional path when it came to my education and career. I have been painting my whole life and have always felt the most confident in art class. It wasn't much deeper than that. One day, after seeing a job posting to paint a mural, a lightbulb moment happened. As a digital marketer, graphic designer, and painter, I really enjoy working with clients and bringing ideas to fruition.
What’s the most unexpected thing you’ve learned in your current career?
I learned unexpectedly that committing to my instincts and being kind will get me further than anything else.
What often sparks your creativity or gets you into the creative zone?
I really do love getting buzzed and either listen to a playlist or watching trash TV while painting.
What is your unfiltered advice for anyone looking to break into your industry?
Just go for it and follow through. You don't have to have it all figured out to achieve something that you're proud of.
