Yosemite National Park: Historic Sights and Timeless Healing

The last time I visited Yosemite National Park, I was a little girl filled with optimism and excitement about life. But life got real, and I lost that little girl for a while. Returning to this amazing place all these years later, at a time in my life when I'm back to my childlike joy, felt like a homecoming.
There’s a reason why Yosemite is one of life’s natural wonders. With 750,000 acres of powerful cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush meadows to play in, it’s one of those adventures that you can return to over the course of multiple trips and seasons in your life, and you’ll always discover something new and profound.
One of my favorite moments of visiting Yosemite Valley this time was happening upon Sentinel Beach — a quaint, sandy, almost secretive beach on the Merced River, offering perfect, picturesque views of Sentinel Rock. It was a dream to see fellow travelers splashing in the water, smiling, enjoying this shared experience of witnessing nature’s raw beauty.
We can’t wait to plan another Yosemite trip for 2026 and explore more of the many historic small towns within, while discovering something about ourselves along the way.
